Nordex
SE (Nordex) is a management holding company, engages in developing,
producing, servicing and marketing of wind power systems. The company
offers various turbines under various brnads N100 with 2.5 megawatt (MW)
capacity for inland sites; N90 with 2.5MW capacity for both strong and
light winds; N80 with 2.5MW capacity for strong wind locations; S82 with
1.5MW capacity for the Asia-Pacific markets; S77 with 1.5MW capacity
that can be used in areas with low wind speeds and S70 wind turbine with
1.5MW capacity for inland locations. Nordex also provides preliminary
project development services to support marketing, acquires rights and
creates the infrastructure required to construct wind turbines at
suitable locations. In addition, the company engages in the development
of rotor blades and integration of electrical and control technology for
wind turbines. The company has two wholly owned subsudiaires: Nordex
Energy GmbH and Nordex Energy B.V. Geographically, the company operates
in Europe, Asia and America. Nordex is headquartered in Rostock,
Germany.
